  Pretty expensive for my taxes here. $443. I was told it would be in the $200-300 range. Also, when i got my taxes, i was asked for payment and handed a folder. They didn't really want to sit with me and review the numbers. Very frustrating. Will not go back to them.

  The only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of one is because I never actually got to meet with the accountant herself and she may be great. But the customer service I received was ridiculously bad. Like, almost humorously bad. I'm not one to leave negative reviews or be a problem customer but I felt I just bad to say something. The receptionist (I assume), Karen, was patronizing from the start, but I let it slide as I usually do. However, she called me today to ask if I could reschedule a consultation for after tax season. Usually I'm totally fine with rescheduling to make things easier, but I pay quarterly taxes so I needed to meet before tax season was over, clearly. I told her this and she replies in a snotty tone, "well, I've already canceled your appointment." Um...what? "So you canceled my appointment without talking to me?" And then (this part is almost funny) she goes, "I'm talking to you now." -_- I go out of my way to be kind and courteous on the phone, and this is how this lady, whose JOB it is to be kind and courteous on the phone, treats me? I'm not saying this business is bad. I'm saying this lady has a serious attitude problem and an (unwarranted) superiority complex. I'm not a stupid person. I like to think I'm fairly intelligent actually, on a good day. So don't call me up pretending to be conscientious and ask if I can reschedule when you've already canceled my appointment without my consent. I would've liked it better if she'd just been straightforward with me from the start instead of pretending to ask permission and then talking to me like I'm some kind of inbred halfwit who's not going to pick up on poor business practice when I question her methods like any halfway intelligent person would.
