- ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆I have to say this is by far one of the worst banks I have ever dealt with in my whole life. I have worked as a teller at two banks before and I have been given the run around by TCF Bank and blatantly lied to. I know how banking regulations work and I keep getting different stories from each person I talked to. I have had a teller lie to me and tell me my account was perfectly fine. After being given more unrealistic fees and telling the manager of the bank I was never given the correct information she out right called me a liar and said she had to back up her staff. Her staff member lied and said he remembers telling me, FROM A WEEK AGO, that he gave me the correct information. Worst customer service I've ever experienced BY FAR. For the manager to believe her staff, when he was probably afraid of getting in trouble, is completely ridiculous! Don't invest your money in this bank...
